* Bocce:

*Bocce competition will be comprised of two sessions: A morning session 9 :00 am -12:00 pm for Traditional Singles and Unified Doubles and an afternoon session 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm for Traditional Doubles.

*Also note that Saturday is Preliminary Round Robin Play. Sunday will be the Medal round and schedules will be made available after Saturday's play is completed. Medals will be awarded based on results from Sunday's Medal round.

* Cycling:

All sports are offered as traditional and Unified Sports. Unified Sports, pioneered in Massachusetts, brings together athletes with and without intellectual disabilities of similar age and ability to compete on the same playing field. This program increases opportunities for all athletes involved.

4:00 p.m. Competition ends
6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Dinner

Sunday, August 10
6:15 - 8:30 a.m. Breakfast
8:00 a.m. Competition begins
10:00 a.m. Rooms must be vacated
10:00 a.m. Olympic Town opens at Nonotuck, Quabbin and Swift River
12:00 p.m. BBQ lunch at venues
4:00 p.m. Competition ends; awards to be given out at conclusion of division play on Sunday

Important Games Information

Housing: UMass Amherst, Southwest Residential Area (Campus Map)

Opening Ceremony: Opening Ceremony will be held outside (weather permitting) in the Southwest Horseshoe. Staging will be in the outdoor basketball courts of the Southwest horseshoe. At the conclusion of Opening Ceremony please stay for a fireworks display provided by Alonzo Fireworks

Dance Theme: "Saturday Night Fever"
Dance Location: Outside in the Southwest Horseshoe

Transportation: Programs are responsible for their own transportation. SOMA will NOT be providing transportation to venues.

Parking: Parking at competition venues is limited; please car pool.

UMass - Park in Lots 33 and 21 on University Avenue - across from the Southwest Horeseshoe (Campus Map)

Nonotuck - Follow parking signs and parking attendants directions. All vehicles will be directed to park in the lower soccer fields. Parking will be limited by fields 6-10 to accommodate emergency vehicles.

Coaches Meetings:

Softball - Friday night at 9:30 p.m. and Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. on the 5th Floor Lounge of Washington Tower.

Golf - Friday night at 6:30 p.m. on the 5th Floor Lounge of Washington Tower.

Cycling - On site

Fishing - On site Saturday a.m. prior to competition.
