Why host a fundraising event for Special Olympics Massachusetts?

Pay tribute to a family member, friend, or colleague who is a Special Olympics athlete.

 

As a business leader, you will align your company with one of the most respected and visible charities in Massachusetts and will be making a significant contribution in support of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

What kind of support and resources can I expect from Special Olympics Massachusetts?

 

Our staff is just a phone call away and will always be available to offer advice and answer all your questions.

We will send you a Third-Party Event Guide where we will give you all the information you need to run a successful event.

You will receive a detailed Resource Guide that will explain how to publicize your event, retain sponsors, plan raffles and auctions, and much more.

 

Aside from the rewarding experience of raising funds to support SOMA's work and mission, are there any incentives for running an event?

 

SOMA hosts two exciting appreciation events each year. You will be invited to one or both of these. When you decide to start a tournament, you will receive further details on our appreciation events and how you might participate.
