o        Brockton School Day Games – Fri. 5/8 for 300 Athletes & Unified Partners @ Brockton HS

o        South Section Games Track & Field Games – Sat. 5/9 for 400 Athletes & Unified Partners @ Brockton HS

o        Attleboro School Day Games – Thu. 5/21 for 500 Athletes & Unified Partners @ Attleboro HS

o        Brockton Young Athletes Week – Tue. 5/26, Wed. 5/27 & Thu. 5/28 for 897 Athletes & Unified Partners @ the Howard & Keith Schools

o        Habilitation Assistance Corporation MATP event – Fri. 6/5 for 225 Athletes @ Otis AFB

o        First-ever SOMA Young Athletes events – Thu. 6/11 @ North Attleboro’s Early Learning Center and Wed. 6/17 @ Dennis-Yarmouth – for a total of 155 Young Athletes & Partners

o        New Bedford School Day Games – Fri. 6/12 for 60 Athletes @ New Bedford HS

Fundraising & Development Highlights:

·         Plymouth County Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) on Fri. 5/15 – 22 miles from Plymouth to Brockton – more than $4,000 raised to date – thanks to Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department, Pat Lee & Lisa Budge-Johnson

·         Barnstable County LETR on Fri. 6/12 @ 5am – 67 miles from Provincetown to Bourne raised more than $11,000 to date for our SOMA Athletes

·         Bristol County LETR on Wed. 6/17 at 6pm – 5 mile group run from Attleboro to Norton VFW hall – open to all – check out www.massfop.org for more info and to register

·         Enterprise Rent-A-Car Golf Tournament & Silent/Live Auctions to benefit Special Olympics on Thu. 6/18 @ Easton Country Club – email jay.obrien@specialolympicsma.org for availability & times
