Special Events
Opening Ceremony - Friday, February 29, 2008
Will again take place in conjunction with the Worcester Sharks. It will be SOMA night as the Sharks play host to the Manchester Monarchs. SOMA will be featured through out the game and the Sharks will be wearing a commemorative game jersey to celebrate the night. The Sharks will be raffling off the jersey and proceeds will benefit SOMA and Sharks charities. Click here for more info.

Olympic Town and Dance - Saturday, March 1, 2008
Olympic Town and the Dance will take place at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Recreation Center. This year�s theme will be 'The Starry Night Ball'. Come dressed in your finest Black and White. Commemorative Ball photos will be taken under the archway.

* Change for 2008. In response to the growing numbers of bowlers, SOMA has expanded to a second bowling alley.
>> Traditional bowlers will be competing at AMF Town and Country Lanes in Shrewsbury.
>> Unified Bowlers will continue to compete at AMF Lanes in Auburn.
* This change will allow for less congestion at the bowling alleys and allow our bowlers the opportunity to bowl more games. Saturday they will bowl 3 games and on Sunday 2 games for a total of 5 games
