2026 Cape Cod Basketball League

Dates: Saturdays, January 17th through March 7th (make-up date 3/14)

Volunteer timeframe: 7:45am-12:00pm (some weeks may end at 11:00am)

Location: Riverview School

Volunteer Role: help set up, keep score and time of games, and clean up

2026 Marlborough Basketball League

Dates: Saturdays, January 17th through March 21st (make-up date 3/28)

Volunteer timeframes: 7:45am-12:00pm OR 11:45am-5:00pm (some shifts may end at 6pm)

Location: Yawkey Sports Training Center

Volunteer Role: help set up, keep score and time of games, and clean up

Shifts will be posted 5 weeks at a time. The second half of the season will be posted mid-January

2026 Winter Dorchester Young Athletes & Basketball Skills Center

Date: Saturday, January 17th-March 7th

Volunteer timeframe: 9:00am-11:00am

Location: DotHouse Health Clinic

1353 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester, MA

Volunteer Roles: Young Athletes: Guiding children ages 2-7 through a variety of exercises to help develop their motor and social interaction skills (9:00am-10:00am).

Basketball Skills: Help lead basketball skills and drills stations for athletes ages 8-15 (10:00am-11:00am).

Volunteers who register will be committing to both Young Athletes and Basketball Skills

Requirements: Volunteers must be able to commit to 75% of sessions.

2026 Winter Roxbury Young Athletes

Date: Saturday, January 17th-March 7th

Volunteer timeframe: 10:00am-11:00am

Location: Dewitt Center

Volunteer Roles: Young Athletes: Guiding children ages 2-7 through a variety of exercises to help develop their motor and social interaction skills

2026 Winter Lynn Young Athletes & Basketball Skills Center

Date: Saturday, January 17th-March 7th

Volunteer timeframe: 10:00am-12:00pm

Location: Ingalls School

Volunteer Roles: Young Athletes: Guiding children ages 2-7 through a variety of exercises to help develop their motor and social interaction skills (10:00am-11:00am).

Basketball Skills: Help lead basketball skills and drills stations for athletes ages 8-15 (11:00am-12:00pm).

Volunteers who register will be committing to both Young Athletes and Basketball Skills

Requirements: Volunteers must be able to commit to 75% of sessions.

2026 Winter/Spring Burlington Train 4 Life Fitness Program

Date: Saturdays from January 17th through April 11th (skipping Easter weekend)

Volunteer timeframe: 1 pm to 2 pm

Location: Burlington D1 Training

60 South Avenue, Burlington, MA

Volunteer Role: encourage and motivate athletes to stay engaged during workout, demonstrate exercises by explaining techniques, modify exercises as needed, assist with equipment including weights, mats, and exercise balls, and addressing safety concerns and taking necessary steps to provide a safe environment.

We are looking for volunteers who can commit to as many weeks as possible for this 12-week program. Athletes benefit from a consistent volunteer to create trust and develop a strong bond with.
