1. When you cough or sneeze make sure you do it in your elbow (instead of your hands)

2. Wash those hands! You should wash your hands for at least 20 seconds. A good song to wash your hands to is either the alphabet or happy birthday. Wash your hands when:

  • You cough or sneeze.
  • Before and after cooking.
  • Before eating!

3. You can also make sure your body is healthy by eating a healthy diet. Do this by making sure you get all your fruits and veggies in. Aim for at least 5 fruits and or vegetables.

4. Another tip is to dress appropriately for the weather by wearing a jacket, gloves/mittens, and a hat!

5. If you come down with the flu or a cold do the following:

  • Make sure you stay home from school or work to prevent others from getting sick.
  • Get plenty of rest, stay hydrated and get plenty of vitamins.
