The Special Olympics Massachusetts Polar Plunge has reached new heights this year - raising $1,000,000. Here are some of the highlights from a record breaking season.

North Reading High School was the first school in Massachusetts to sign on and participate in Special Olympics MA’s mobile plunge with Bear Force One—a fully equipped mobile plunge pool that can hold up to 2,800 gallons of water.

Swim for Quinn, Freeze for Addy Louise has plunged at Nantasket Beach from 2019 to the present—raising more than $50,000 for Special Olympics MA. According to Maggie and Katelyn, the team is all about having fun!

LJ Jedrey, Andy Larose and Al Pires are headed to Michigan to retrieve an incredible, unique vehicle that will help Special Olympics MA on its road to $1 Million… the Bear Force One.

On Saturday, March 17, 2018, Special Olympics Massachusetts hosted the 3rd annual Polar Plunge at the Yawkey Sports Training Center in Marlborough, partnering with the Marlborough Police Department through the Law Enforcement Torch Run.

Hundreds of frozen toes will be jumping into the waves on the shoreline of Buzzards Bay – some in costume, some in bathing suits, some fully clothed – at the Tabor Academy Polar Plunge on Sunday, January 22 for the Special Olympics.
