Macey Auger embarked on the 2024 Boston Marathon with calmness, ready to advocate for inclusion during her 26.2-mile journey. However, her resolve was tested when a sudden knee injury threatened to derail her race at just 5 miles in.
Throughout Johanna’s training and fundraising for the Xtra Mile Boston Marathon team, she has felt her uncle’s presence along the way.

Peter Kline formed “Marathons With Meaning” to make running more accessible for individuals with disabilities. This year, Peter will run the Boston Marathon with Natick High School Unified Track athlete Yousef.

Kevin’s Krewe rides in the Connecticut Valley Century Ride (COVAC) as part of the Special Olympics Ma Xtra Mile, and has raised more than $20,000 this year.
The LIFE Force Special Olympics athletes were filled with excitement as they were shipping up their way to Boston to compete in the 2023 Summer Games.
